Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will have a rematch in December this year

The first professional twelve-round fight for the absolute world heavyweight champion title, which took place on May 18, 2024 at the Kingdom Arena football stadium in Riyadh between the WBA Super, IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring world champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and the WBC world champion Briton Tyson Fury. In that fight, the "Gypsy King" lost to the heavyweight from Ukraine, and after that Usyk managed to give up the championship belt, giving Joshua and Dubois the opportunity to prove themselves.

As a result, in the first fight with Fury, Usyk won by split decision. His opponent has long been known as one of the most scandalous athletes of our time, and even came to a press conference with Klitschko dressed as Batman. He does not hesitate to sing offensive songs in the ring, and declares a real harassment of his opponents on the Internet. Before the rematch, he already announced that he would definitely win. However, many are inclined to believe that the victory will still go to the Ukrainian, who, despite all the troubles of his country, still accepted the challenge of the daring "Gypsy King". While Usyk is a supporter of iron discipline, Fury does not yet differ in this. While the Ukrainian eats rationally and lifts iron in the gym, in the summer, drunk Fury was led out of the bar by his friends. His representatives later said that the athlete overdid it after a long break from drinking alcohol. Fury has had many problems with addictions and psychological breakdowns in the past, so you can't call him a stable fighter. Usyk also quarrels with the police, then plans to go into acting, then rushes into MMA. But surprisingly, there is no hate towards each other on social networks. Perhaps the real preparation is simply taking place in solitude for the athletes, or perhaps the rematch is not nearly as important for the fighters as their enthusiastic fans believe.
