A flashy striker who combines a fast pace with exceptional accuracy despite being ranked three spots lower than Adesanya, Nasurdinov is a formidable opponent for the Nigerian. He is nicknamed the “Russian Sniper” for his lightning-fast strikes and ability to work the body well. In 2019, Imavov won the Thunderstrike Fight League title and became the best fighter in the middleweight category in France, and still competes under the French flag, although he is a Dagestani by nationality.
